An Espanola dentist is doing his part to help the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank and the community.
Dr. Maninder Singh of Singh Dentistry will donate $500 per month for a year.Â
Food bank spokesperson, Grant Lewis, says the $6,000 donation is much appreciated and will go a long way to ensure the operation remains a vital support system for the area.Â
The town turned down a resolution to provide $18,000 to cover the food bank’s rent for a year, adding the matter has been deferred and can be brought back to the table for reconsideration later.Â
Lewis says several other businesses and organizations have also been in touch to help and he extends a thank you to everyone who is helping the area’s most vulnerable.Â
