Your water bill may be going in up Elliot Lake.
Council has given its approval to a hike for wastewater management and maintenance costs.
It’s going to cost an extra $63 per year, an increase of 6.82 per cent over last year if council approves the increase as part of the municipal budget process.
Officials say it’s a priority to increase the reserves since there will have to be upgrades done within the next few years.
The budget process continues and is expected to be finalized by late Spring.
