The Junior and Senior bands from Espanola High School brought home medals from the Northern Ontario Music Festival held in Sudbury this past Friday.
The Junior Band was awarded a Silver Standard with the Outstanding Contribution award going to Willow Hobbs for her hard work and dedication as well as the improvisation she performed on the solo saxophone feature.
The Senior Band was awarded a Silver standard with Outstanding Contribution awards presented to Ty Shipton for his solid rhythm on the kit and to Lilly Tilston for her feature work on the piano.
