St. Joseph Hospital in Elliot Lake has a new staffer.
The hospital is welcoming new consulting pediatrician, Dr. Jonathan DellaVedova, to their team.
Officials say Dr. DellaVedova has been practicing as a consulting pediatrician in Sault Ste. Marie for the past 10 years.
He is also the Chief of Pediatric & Neonatal Services at Sault Area Hospital, and an associate professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University.
Dr. DellaVedova graduated from the school in the charter class and completed his residency at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton.
He is passionate about all aspects of pediatric medicine from acute care to chronic disease to development, and he looking forward to providing some great care to the people of Elliot Lake and area.
