Espanola Lions Club distributes Catch the Ace revenues

Valentine week was a great one for several community organizations in the North Shore Corridor.

According to the Espanola Lions club spokesperson Grant Lewis, the Catch the Ace success allowed for donations to several local organizations in Town.

He says that includes the Espanola Legion, hospital auxiliary, Community Living Espanola, the ski club, junior curling, minor hockey, and figure skating club.

Lewis adds the Massey Museum, Webbwood Eagles and Manitoulin Centennial Manor also received financial support.

He says the new round of Catch the Ace starts soon.

The various donations break down as follows: Massey Museum $1,000, Espanola Hospital Auxiliary $5,650, Community Living Espanola $5,780, Espanola Legion $2,375, Espanola Skating Club$6,625, Espanola Ski Club $5,665, Espanola Junior Curling $1,075, Espanola Minor Hockey, $14,600, Webbwood Eagles $1,000 and the Manitoulin Centennial Manor, $3,500.
