Ontario Northland sets up new stop in Espanola

Ontario Northland has set up a new bus stop in Espanola, which they say will provide better access, and a public area when waiting for transportation.

Company Communication Specialist, Kate Bondett, says Ontario Northland is pleased that as of January 7, the new bus stop location is now located at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

Previously, riders had to find a way to the Esso at the intersection of Highway 6 and 17 where there was no protection from the weather or benches for riders to wait for the bus.

Bondett adds they are proud to have partnered with the Town of Espanola on the new location and look forward to continuing to serve the community in the years to come.

Riders will be able to stay warm inside the lobby of the centre while waiting for the bus, a boon for travellers utilizing the service.

Tickets can be purchased online at ontarionorthland.ca or by calling passenger services at 1 800 461 8558.
