The East Algoma OPP has arrested an Elliot Lake man in connection to two recent break-and-enters.
Constable Phil Young says there have been several break-ins in the last while in the city and released a warning Tuesday for residents to secure their property.
He says yesterday, an Elliot Lake man was arrested in two break-ins, one at a house on Lakeview Road, the second on Axmith Avenue.
Young says the break-ins took place over the last week adding a man was seen fleeing on foot from the Lakeview Road location and a description provided to police.
Shortly thereafter, the man was found and is charged with two counts each of break-and-enter, and possession of stolen property.
Young says the 49-year-old man is to appear before bail court in Blind River.
