East Algoma OPP is investigating a sudden death on the Mississauga First Nation.
Constable Bev Gauthier says yesterday morning around 2:30 am, police and paramedics responded to an unresponsive person call at a residence on Eli Street in the community.
She says a 46-year-old person from Whitby was found deceased prior to emergency services arriving.
Gauthier says the cause of death is unknown and a postmortem in expected to take place in Sudbury this week.
The investigation is ongoing.
