A second person has been charged in the ongoing homicide investigation in Sagamok – Anishinabek First Nation.
Police say a 29-year-old from the First Nation has been charged with accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence.
On Sept. 24, shortly before 6:00 a.m., Manitoulin OPP say officers responded to an assault with a weapon call.
Officials say the victim was transported to hospital and later died from their injuries.
The accused was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Espanola court in January.
Another individual was arrested in early November.
