The Green candidate in Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing says the riding faces quite a few challenges. Calvin John Orok of White River says a big issue is transportation. He says with Greyhound recently announcing cutbacks to some communities, getting from one point to another is harder for some people. Orok says this has seniors in this region worried on how they get to one point to another with limited transportation. Orok says another big issue is ensuring there are jobs for young people so they don’t keep leaving the region. Orok is challenging Carol Hughes of the NDP for her seat. Also trying to take the seat away from Hughes is Andre Robichaud of the Conservatives and the Liberals’ Heather Wilson.
