CJJM – 99.3 FM – Espanola held its Heart of Gold campaign thousands of dollars for a Northern Ontario organization focused on assisting children with cancer.
The running total raised so far for the Northern Ontario Families of Children With Cancer is just over $4,500 raised from the radiothon held last Friday.
The month-long campaign continues this week with donations continuing to come in.
The Beer Store in Espanola is also collecting empties to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and will present a cheque to the Heart of Gold Campaign this Friday.

All donors will receive an official receipt from the NOFCC for income tax receipt purposes and be entered into a draw for various prizes, including a barbecue which takes place this Friday.
