Earthquakes rattle Sudbury area

Sudbury may have been hit with two small earthquakes Tuesday night.  Right after 9:00pm Sudbury police got flooded with calls about the ground shaking in New Sudbury and the Minnow Lake region.  It turns out that an earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter Scale hit the city at 9:06pm.   Earthquake Canada says the shaker was followed by a smaller rumbling eight minutes later at 1.9.  The epicentre for both earthquakes was 47 kilometres east of Sudbury.  There are no reports of damage.
