The Toronto Hospital for Sick Kids is the big winner of a major fundraiser hosted by the North Shore Cruisers Car Club.
The club hosted a major raffle and barbecue in Elliot Lake last weekend raising $15,000 in all.
Four thousand of that went to winners from Elliot Lake, Espanola, Sudbury, and Val Caron with the brunt of the funding going to the hospital.
Organizers extend a thank you to Napa in Elliot Lake for the use of their parking lot, local businesses that donated prizing and the larger community for supporting the initiative.
