An Elliot Lake person has been charge following a dropped 911 call to police.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says last Thursday morning around 10 am, police responded to a dropped 911 call at a residence on Bailey Lane in Elliot Lake.
He says police went inside to make sure no one was in distress and while doing so, found someone who was wanted for previous domestic related assaults and sexual assault.
Young says an arrest was made and the 40-year-old is now facing two counts each of assault and uttering threats, and one count each of sexual assault, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
He adds the accused was scheduled to appear in Blind River bail court last Friday.
