Town of Espanola hosting annual Seniors Appreciation Day

The Town of Espanola will be hosting its annual Seniors Plus 55 Appreciation Day, which will include workshops, interactive activities, and lunch.
According to the release, there will be free swims and aquafit on the morning of Tuesday, June 13th with access to the fitness centre throughout the day.

Several booths will also be set up with most focusing on senior health, all taking place at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

The luncheon, which includes dietary restrictions, will be hosted by the Espanola Elks at their hall at 11:30 am for eat-in or take-out.

Seniors are asked to pre-register at the front desk of the recreation centre. Call 705-869-1961 during business hours.

The booths include the local Family Health Team, VON, CNIB, Noojmowin Teg Health Centre, Ontario Dental Seniors Program and Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario.

The Espanola Public Library will also have a display detailing their different programs and services.
