YMCA of Northeastern Ontario opens new day camp location in Elliot Lake

The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario says a new YMCA Summer Day Camp location will be open this summer in Elliot Lake.

Elliot Lake Acting Mayor Andrew Wannan says the city is entering into a partnership with the Sudbury YMCA, which council believes will be a great collaboration as an additional childcare resource over the summer months as well as providing some great programming for children.

He says there is a cost involved and jobs available for those interested in the program, which will be offered at the Collins Hall.

Wannan says the YMCA will be hosting a Camp Hiring Day and Open House on Thursday, May 11th, from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Collins Hall for those interested in learning more about this new camp.
