Espanola High/Manitoulin Secondary share in the winning at the Technological Skills Competition

Espanola High and Manitoulin Secondary are both sharing in the accolades with other Rainbow Schools after winning several categories in the board’s 16th annual Technological Skills Competition.

The board’s Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program Coordinator, Dana Pratt, says over 120 secondary school students tested their skills in a variety of skills competitions including architecture, auto, carpentry, electronics and more.

She says the competition was held at Cambrian College on March 1st bringing students together from both the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts.

She adds students were vying for the opportunity to compete at the Northeast Qualifier on April 1st in North Bay or the Skills Ontario Competition on May 2nd and 3rd in Toronto.
