Sudbury Secondary School hosts Fight Against Cancer Gala

Rainbow school students and families are invited to take part in a gala event to raise funds in the fight against cancer.
Sudbury Secondary School principal Heather Downey says The Third Annual Fight Against Cancer Gala will be held on Friday, April 21st to raise funds for the Northern Cancer Centre through Angels in Pink.
She says the gala, which will include dinner, silent auction, dance and formal presentations, will be held at the Caruso Club in Sudbury.
She commended the Student Parliament for their leadership in organizing the fundraising event since its inception in 2017 adding this is a Rainbow school community event.

Downey says everyone knows someone touched by cancer either directly or indirectly, so the gala is a wonderful opportunity to come together to support a cause that is important to everyone in Rainbow schools.
