The hospital in Elliot Lake has had yet another COVID outbreak declared on the third floor of Acute Care.
St. Joseph’s General Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson says the outbreak was declared by Algoma Public Health.
He adds limited visitation protocols continue where only Essential Care Partners or compassionate circumstances allow for anyone to enter the floor.
Stevenson adds they will continue to work closely with local health officials in monitoring the situation and will take appropriate action to ensure the safety of patients, staff and the wider community.
