East Algoma OPP and the Royal Bank of Canada are partnering together to host a fraud seminar for seniors in Blind River as part of Fraud Prevention Month this March.
Constable Bev Gauthier says the seminar will highlight the various ways that all Canadians are being targeted by fraud and to create greater awareness of how seniors can protect themselves.
The free event will be held this Thursday at 2 pm at the Blind River Community Centre.
All local area seniors and Elders are invited to attend.
