Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord celebrates its 25th anniversary

Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year with plans being made to celebrate the quarter century of success.

This week, the board approved modernizing its corporate image with plans in the works for reunions and celebrations at their schools in their individual communities.

In 1998, the Ontario government created 12 French-language school boards, giving Franco-Ontarians control over their schools with the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord overseeing a territory from Markstay-Warren in the east, west to the Manitoba border.

With the approval of the board, committees will now be set up to discuss celebrations with staff, students, and the wider communities.

Stay tuned and check out all the upcoming celebrations on our social networks!
