Suspected balloon shot down south of Manitoulin by U.S. forces

Suspected surveillance balloons launched by China continue to be shot down over North America.
The latest is one that was brought down over Lake Huron yesterday as it was about to cross the border from the U-S into Canada, just south of Manitoulin Island.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered NORAD planes to shoot down a balloon over the Northwest Territories and military crews are searching for the debris.
And on Friday, another balloon was brought down over the north coast of Alaska.
This follows the February 4th destruction of a balloon off the east coast of the U-S after it had spent several days crossing parts of Canada and the U-S.
China first said they were civilian balloons gone astray.
The country is now accusing the U-S of sending at least ten balloons over their nation over the last nine months.
