Cambrian names 2023 Employer Award of Distinction

The winner of Cambrian’s 2023 Employer Award of Distinction is St. Joseph’s Health Centre of Sudbury.

Cambrian’s Director of Recruitment and Student Success, Renee Scott, says the award was presented at the job fair yesterday recognizing an employer which has demonstrated exemplary support for the college.

She says St. Joseph’s Health Centre has provided placement for hundreds of students over the years since it opened its doors in 2009.

She adds it is a health care organization that operates a rehabilitation hospital and two long-term-care homes in Greater Sudbury.

Scott adds over the years, the centre has accommodated hundreds of students on placement, in programs from Health Sciences to Community Services to Business and I-T.

St. Joseph’s Health Centre of Sudbury received the award at this year’s Cambrian College Career Fair Conference. Accepting the award on behalf of St. Joseph’s was President and CEO, Kari Gervais. Watch the presentation at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwXlvUN1GtA
