East Algoma OPP has arrested one man and is looking for another in connection to an assault that took place late last week.
Constable Phil Young says around 12:15 pm last Thursday, police responded to an assault on Tokyo Crescent in Elliot Lake.
He says the complainant reported two men they knew had followed them home when one of the men began a verbal argument with the complainant in their driveway.
He says situation escalated with the accused punching the complainant in the face, with death threats being made.
Young says on Saturday a 28-year-old man from Elliot Lake was charged with assault and uttering threats and is to appear in Elliot Lake court on March 6th.
Young adds police are continuing their search for the second man.
