Constable Phil Young with the East Algoma OPP says officers were called out to a local retail store on Ontario Avenue last Thursday where the complainant said a person had caused a disturbance and stole a credit card.

He says the person had tried to use a stolen credit card, and then jumped the counter, stole a VISA gift card, and then fled on foot.
