St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake has appointed Christopher Piel to the position of Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 9th.
Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson says Piel will succeed Tim Vine, who has recently accepted the
role of Hospital CEO in Blind River.
Stevenson says Piel is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Laurentian University adding he has over 10 years of experience in the health sector.
He adds Piel worked at Health Sciences North in the Director of Finance role before accepting this position at St Joseph’s General Hospital.
Stevenson also thanked Vine for his contributions and wishes him the best in his new role in Blind River.
