Helping a local family member fighting cancer

People from the local area are coming together to help a Walford-Massey area family where a father is fighting an aggressive form of cancer.
Railroad Steele band member Glenda Massicotte says Beats for Bob and Jenny happens on Saturday, December 10th at 6 pm at the Walford Community Centre.
She says Bob Zarichney has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease, so the fundraiser will help him and his wife Jenny Massicotte financially and emotionally, adding the couple has two small children at home.
Band alumni and other talented musicians will provide entertainment at the event which is open to adults only with a $20 entry fee which will be donated to the cause along with all monetary donations.
Donations will be accepted at the event and by e-transfer to [email protected] with a message to Bob and Jenny.
Massicotte says she would like to extend a special thank you to donors who have already come forward, and a thank you to the public for helping the family; thanks to the following for their monetary donations: Eddy Landriault, Joey Perron, Jeannine Landriault, Terri Elliot, Lee Peters, and Sheldon Perron.
