Manhunt over, second suspect is dead

One of the largest manhunts in Canadian history has come to an end.
The RCMP say Myles Sanderson, one of two suspects in Sunday’s stabbing rampage in northeastern
Saskatchewan, was arrested yesterday afternoon after police ran his vehicle off the highway northeast of Saskatoon.
The Mounties say Sanderson went into “medical distress” soon after his arrest, and died in hospital.
Sanderson and his brother, Damien, were accused of killing ten people and wounding 18 others on the James Smith Cree Nation, and a nearby village.
Damien was found dead on Monday, not far from where the attacks took place.
Police say his wounds were not self-inflicted.
RCMP Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore says they may never be able to uncover the motive behind the tragedy.
