Elliot Lake hospital limiting parking for a short time

The main entrance of the Elliot Lake hospital will be shut down for a short period of time.

Jeremy Stevenson, the CEO of St. Joseph’s General Hospital says improvements are being made to the parking area at the main entrance of the institution.

He says the work is to begin August 22nd and that area will be shut down while the work is carried out.

He adds signage, barriers and directions will help the public have safe access to the facility.

Stevenson says staff will try and keep any inconvenience to a minimum and thanks the public for their patience during construction.
