East Algoma OPP is investigating two separate unrelated deaths.
Constable Phil Young says police officers were called out on Saturday and Monday to two separated death scenes in wooded areas.
He says on Saturday, a person found a 67-year-old deceased male near Pipeline Road just north of Elliot Lake.
Young says a second 72-year-old man was found deceased on Monday in a wooded area near Esten Drive North.
He emphasizes the two occurrences are not related in any way, nor is there any foul play suspected at this time, and there is no threat to public safety.
Young adds post-mortem examinations are expected to take place in Sault Ste. Marie.
