A protest focusing on the overturning of the Roe vs. Wade decision in the United States will be taking place in Sudbury.
The present-day Supreme Court overturned the historic 1973 decision of its former counterparts on June 24th with the judges stating the restrictive state regulation of abortion is unconstitutional.
People from across both the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts are drawing together to organize the protest asking for people to come and show their support for their ‘American sisters’ and to advocate for women having control of what they do with their bodies.
The public is invited to attend the gathering on Sunday, July 17th at one pm at Bell Park.
