Awesome swim yesterday for Matthieu Bonin of Sudbury who hopes to conquer the North Channel.

Bonin swam from Meldrum Bay to Sheshegwaning yesterday, a total of 21 kilometres in just under seven hours, a new personal best for him.

He thanks his Captain Christine Arsenault and Rick McLean for accompanying him with the boat.

Bonin also says thank you to all those who donated to Multiple Sclerosis on his behalf.

He hopes to continue on the next leg of his swim eventually making his way to Little Current.
