It will be ten years this Thursday since the collapse of the Algo Centre Mall that left two women dead, several dozens injured, and businesses destroyed.
To mark the anniversary, Elliot Lake Mayor Dan Marchisella will address the Mall Remembrance Ceremony to honour the two women, 74-year-old Doloris Perizzolo, and 37-year-old Lucy Aylwin who died in the collapse.
Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony of remembrance for the two women.
It takes place this Thursday, July 23rd at 11 am at the Horne Lake site of the memorial plaques set up in their memory.
