Espanola parent accessing Go Fund Me to raise funds for school playground equipment

An Espanola parent has started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds for playground equipment for L’Ecole catholique La Renaissance and Sacred Heart Catholic School, the new school that opened last September.

Alannah Pelletier says the goal is to raise $10,000 and they hope to have all the funds in place to host a grand opening in 2023.

She points out that playgrounds built for schools must meet the highest safety standards and will only be manufactured after the order is placed, a process that can take up to six months and must be installed up to code.

Pelletier adds there are different levels of sponsorship and donors will also be recognized at the grand opening.
