St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake says the COVID-19 outbreak at the facility has ended.
Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson says the outbreak was declared over by Algoma Public Health yesterday morning.
Stevenson adds the public should still follow protocols, such as washing hands, wearing masks and get booster shots to reduce the spread of the virus.
He adds visiting protocols are in place and for more information, the public can contact the hospital.
