Some residents have not received voters’ cards and that is causing some concern with voters.
An Espanola woman who did not want to be identified contacted The Moose about the lack of a voting card causing stress for her mother and other seniors.
The local returning officer states that they are aware that is the case for many voters, but they can still vote at the polls by bringing a piece of identification with them that has their address on it.
Voting day is this Thursday, June 2nd.
There will also be an advanced poll for seniors in Espanola at the senior drop-in this Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm.
