The City of Elliot Lake, in consultation with Algoma Public Health, has issued a boil water advisory in a local neighbourhood.
According to the release, the advisory is being issued for residents from 1 to 20 Balsam Place.
With repairs having been taken place, the advisory is put in place to protect the public until the work is completed and samples confirm it is safe to consume the water.
Residents are advised to boil the water whether they are brushing their teeth, washing food or cooking, for at least one minute allowing it to cool before use.
