The Algoma District School Board says two of their schools are recipients of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Teach Grants.
Board communications officer Fran Walsh says the grants were established by the Credit Union to recognize the efforts of the schools and teachers in their service areas.
Queen Elizabeth Public School is the recipient of a $5,000 grant, money which will be used for student activities in the classroom category. The recipient of the $1,000 grant is Melissa Euale, a Grade 4 teacher at F.H. Clergue French Immersion School to use as she sees fit in benefiting her students’ education.
