Sables-Spanish Rivers Township has given their approval for Canada Day fireworks to go ahead this year.
The council had received a Canada Heritage grant of $1,100 to go towards celebrating the day.
Council decided to top it off with an additional $840 to give a $2,000 donation to the Sables-Spanish Rivers Township Fire Department to host the fireworks.
The fireworks had been cancelled due to the pandemic, but return this year and the host community will be Webbwood.
