The Manitoulin, East Algoma and West Nipissing detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police and Greater Sudbury Police are joining their counterparts to mark Police Week.
This year the theme is Your Police Services: Helping Build Safer Communities.
It acknowledges the work of officers, 9-1-1 communications, civilians, and support staff.
The annual Police Week in Ontario is sponsored by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General as part of the National Police Week led by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
