East Algoma OPP has found an abandoned boat on a property on Bruce Mines.
Constable Bev Gauthier says police received a report of an abandoned boat on Waltonen Road in Bruce Mines last Thursday.
She says a 12-foot aluminum boat with an older Johnson 6 horsepower outboard motor attached was pulled fully out of the water and secured to a tree.
Gauthier adds there were also lifejackets and oars, it is unprofessionally painted red and white, but there is no registration number on it.
The Johnson motor has a serial number of C46035.
