The Espanola Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 has donated to Community Living Espanola.
Legion president Gary MacPherson presented Community Living’s Louise Laplante with a cheque for $1,079.15 from the proceeds of the weekly meat roll-offs held Saturdays.
Laplante thanked the Legion for its generosity adding some of the funds that will go towards their programs and the purchase of a new van.
Clients spent last week lighting up their residences in blue and green and making delicious cupcakes, all part of Community Living Awareness Month in Ontario.
