The Espanola branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is hosting its first general meeting in over two years to put a new executive in place.
Branch President Gary MacPherson says the general meeting is open to members only to take part in the election of the executive committee, including the president, vice-presidents, Sergeant-at-Arms, and general executive.
He says if someone wishes to stand, but cannot attend, they must submit a letter of intent before the meeting.
MacPherson says the meeting will be held next Wednesday, May 18th at 7 pm at the branch.
