Another expedition for Espanola couple … to the Far North

An Espanola couple is taking on another expedition, this time to the far north to manage a camp.

Dave and Kielyn Marrone, proprietors of Lure of the North, are heading to Devon Island at the mouth of the Northwest Passage in Nunavut tomorrow for a six-week adventure.

Kielyn says she and her husband will be the camp managers on a special Floe Edge Adventure experiencing 24 hours of daylight and camping by the sea ice and recording their explorations.

Dave adds they will be focusing on the migration of the Narwhal, but will also likely see polar bears, seals and the unique landscape including glaciers.

Since the two will be without contact that far north, they plan to share their photos and adventures upon their return in June.
