Liberal candidate takes on new role at Elliot Lake hospital

Tim Vine, who is running as the Liberal candidate for the Algoma-Manitoulin riding, is also taking on a new role as vice-president of finance and corporate services at the Elliot Lake hospital.

St. Joseph’s General Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson made the announcement yesterday noting that Vine is not new to Elliot Lake having served as a former city treasurer.

Most recently he was interim Co-CEO and VP/CFO at the Manitoulin Health Centre, and had resigned that position to move to Ottawa, but decided he wanted to stay closer to home.

Stevenson says Vine succeeds Sanjeev Kumar and will take on the position on June 6th.
