Sables-Spanish Rivers Township has appointed a new clerk-administrator following the retirement of Kim Sloss.
Council has appointed clerk assistant Anne Whalen to take over the position following Sloss’ retirement.
Whalen says Sloss has been invaluable to the township with over 30 years of experience taking over as clerk-administrator following the retirement of Ellen Jordan.
She says Sloss has done so much from reviewing planning applications, working with numerous councils and helping Whalen in her position.
Whalen adds Sloss’ municipal knowledge and dedication is appreciated, and she looks forward to the challenges of the position as of June 1st when the appointment becomes official.
