An iconic small church on Manitoulin Island fell under the wrecking ball this week.
St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Sheguiandah has been demolished
The church had been originally gifted to the Town of Northeastern Manitoulin & The Islands by the local museum board some years ago and was expected to be part of the museum attractions, but due to being condemned, the decision was made to take it down.
The property will now be used as a parking area.
