Mock rescue training being held in Black Creek area

Regular users of the Black-Creek Sno-Shoe Trails in Espanola are asked to delay their normal morning walk this weekend due to a mock rescue training day.

Volunteer Dennis Lendrum says the North Shore Search and Rescue group is coming in with their teams and vehicles to host a training session this Saturday morning starting a 9 am.

He says trail users are invited to come out at 1 pm instead and meet with the search and rescue team in the picnic table area.

Lendrum adds the trail will open for public access at that time.
