One museum opens while another prepares for the season

The Massey Area Museum has opened its doors for another season and Timber Village Museum in Blind River is preparing to reopen.

The Massey Area Museum held its grand reopening this Saturday after a difficult couple of years due to the pandemic.

The facility is now open for the spring season from 10 am to 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Blind River’s Timber Village Museum manager, curator Ashley Young says their first event will be the museum hosting an in-person paint night in the gallery on May 2 followed by the popular Mother’s Day Tea on May 6 and 7.
