The Toonies for Tummies campaign in Espanola means dozens of children will get breakfast.
Freshco’s Kim Gardiner says the campaign to collect toonies for local school breakfast programs was a big success.
She says the grocery store collected over $3,200 for the Espanola schools to help keep their breakfast programs for schools going.
Gardiner adds every toonie buys a breakfast for a child through the Student Nutrition Ontario Program and thanks the public for their generosity.
